Trip to Gibraltar (6th october 2016)

 The groups 4ESO A and B went to Gibraltar last 7th October. There, they visited the Mackintosh Hall building where they could see a Photography exhibition, explained by Leslie Linares, Secretary of the Gibraltar Photographic Society.
Then they did a tour through the Garrison Library, guided by Chris Tavares, Researcher and Collection Management.

Students listened to the explanations and make questions to the speakers. The teachers who went with the students are Javier Chacón and Carolina Amusco .

A Trip to Gibraltar (2nd ESO)

Another schoolyear has passed, and our current 2nd ESO students have lived the experience of their trip to Gibraltar. A morning out in the streets of our neighbour city. Three classes (2nd ESO A, B, and C) were able to ask different people that came across them about their shopping habits, their favourite music and sports, the price of different items, the number of daily flights to London and a lot of more interesting details about the Gibraltarian culture, literature or religion. They were also excited about the fact of making themselves understood and being able to understand the people´s replies. No luck this year about finding a monkey greeting tourists on the streets but a lot of street performers delighted them instead. TRIP TO GIBRALTAR. INTERDISCIPLINARY ACTIVITY 4º ESO (HISTORY-ENGLISH)

Last 21st November, students of 4º ESO visited  the Great Siege Tunnel, St Michael Cave, Garrison Library and Gibraltar Museum.

They were accompanied by the teachers Araceli Vallecillo, Leticia Álvarez de Luna and Carolina Amusco and they had to pay attention to the information they received  about the different places they visited to fill in a notebook.
