VISITA AL BIOPARC DE FUENGIROLA

El 9 de mayo de 2023, el alumnado de 1º de ESO de nuestro instituto disfrutó de una magnífica visita al Bioparc de Fuengirola.

La actividad, que forma parte de la programación del bilingüismo, se realizó en inglés y en castellano.

El alumnado hizo un interesantísimo recorrido por algunos de los ecosistemas recreados en el parque, tales como Madagascar, África Ecuatorial, el Sudeste Asiático y las islas del Indo-Pacífico, y participó activamente en talleres sobre distintas especies animales y sus entornos naturales.

VIAJE DE INMERSIÓN AL REINO UNIDO

El alumnado de 3º ESO realizó un viaje de inmersión a Rochester (Reino Unido) entre los días 18 y 23 de abril. Los alumnos se alojaron en las casas de distintas familias de la localidad. El programa de actividades consistió en la asistencia a clases de inglés y la realización de diversas actividades y visitas.

Además de Rochester y de las poblaciones colindantes, tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar otras ciudades emblemáticas como Canterbury y Londres.

¡Feliz Navidad!

La Delegación Provincial de Educación de la provincia de Cádiz ha elaborado un vídeo con fotos enviadas por los centros bilingües de la provincia para felicitarnos en estas entrañables fiestas. Nuestro instituto ha participado en dicho vídeo y con él queremos desearle una feliz Navidad a toda la comunidad educativa del IES Tolosa.

DÍA EUROPEO DE LAS LENGUAS

El pasado 26 de septiembre se celebró el XX aniversario del Día Europeo de las Lenguas, cuya finalidad es promover la importancia de la diversidad lingüística como herramienta clave para lograr una mayor comprensión intercultural y como elemento fundamental de la herencia cultural de nuestro continente.

Erasmus+ Activity from Italy

A teacher from Italy visited our School for a Job-shadowing Activity included in the programme ERASMUS+

Students from Vocational Training showed her the Bunkers Trail in La Línea and students from 3º ESO prepared some routes in La Línea she chould do.

It was an interesting experience for our students and for the School in general. We hope to continue the contact between us.

Speed Dates

SAINT VALENTINE'S DAY
Today is Saint Valentine's Day and the 1° Bachillerato B-C students are celebrating love in a very unusual way. New couples appear every day thanks to social networks or dating apps or even TV programmes! We are trying to find our ideal match by "speeding dates" and that's what they are doing in this picture...

Well, in fact, they aren't the real students, but the characters they have invented!
The activity is taken from the British Council Learning website and consists of creating a personal profile and then rotate asking and giving information always sitting in pairs and changing couples every two minutes. After they have "met" 4 or 5 couples, they decide which one is the perfect mate and give reasons for their choice.
We had a really good time...why don't you try playing the Speed Date in your next class?
